Yesterday we visited Beamish Museum, who happened to have a festival celebrating everything 50s related. As soon as I attend an event like this I suddenly think I'm Martin Parr and start photographing everyone and everything, desperately trying to blend in and look inconspicuous. Which is difficult when you're shooting with the monster that is the RZ67.
I'm terrible for getting the fear about asking people for a portrait, but I did it a few times this day and it's made me want to be a little braver in future. Expect more portraits.
