A lot of people have asked me how to find this mysterious blue lagoon, and I won't lie to you, it was a bit of a nightmare. Do not try this if it's been raining.... Wait for a dry day. And don't try and be clever and cut through the woods like we did, unless you want to pull brambles out of your dogs fur and possibly snap your knee climbing over tree roots.
Go to this facebook page and click onto the maps and press 'get directions', switch your map to satellite view. You can see the blue water in the image (circled in red). The yellow line is the route we took. Don't follow the yellow line. Avoid it at all costs, it is not the easiest way in the slightest.
There is definitely a little path you can follow which eventually leads into the woods but I'm not sure which way as we took the extra difficult route, and only spotted the path on the way back. Just aim for the water and take the most direct route you can, you should stumble upon the path. Ignore all the 'danger' and 'keep out' signs....haha. It's worth the trek, especially on a winters day when there's nobody else around.
