The last overnight adventure we had was at the beginning of December so I thought Steven and I were due a little mini road trip. I quickly found a waterfront cottage on AirBnB in a Scottish village near Cramond Island and got it booked.
We spent the first day doing a bit of vintage shopping and coffee drinking in Edinburgh then explored the village we were staying in. The next day we visited the botanical gardens (photos coming soon) and drove along the coast until we ended up back in Newcastle. We're going to do a week in Scotland soon armed with a tent and lots of film. I want to get right into the depths of the North and not have to worry about getting back in time to sort my life out before going back to work the next day.
Still though, two days just exploring the Scottish coast is exactly what we needed.
